Troy Anthony Johnson was born on October 9, 1974 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, to Jed Whitley and Linda Johnson.
Troy was a hard worker and for 22 years he worked at the Asbury Park Press. He was employed at the ARC of Monmouth for 5 years where he advocated for and served adults with
intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Troy was loved by so many and showed love to everyone he met. He had two loves. One was his deep love for Jehovah.
Troy dedicated his life to Jehovah and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on September 28, 2003. He always talked about Jehovah's Kingdom to friends, family and co-workers.
His second love was his love of music. He loved to dance he would enter a room to take over the music and always had jokes.
Troy always talked about the good times he had with all of his friends and family.
Troy had many health problems but that never stopped him from preaching about the things his God Jehovah promised (Revelations 21: 3-4).
Troy will be deeply missed by all.
Troy is predeceased by his father, Jed Whitley (aunts) Elizabeth Hughes and Yolanda Wyche (uncle) Nyle Whitley, (grandparents) Wilbert and Cary Whitley (grandparents)
Mamie and George Johnson (uncle) Ronald Whitely (aunt) Brenda Johnson.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving mother and stepfather Linda and Nick Evanoski, his four uncles five great aunts a host of first second cousins and many friends.
Troy also leaves behind a host of friends, from his congregation that loved his very much. We all look forward to seeing him in the future of Jehovah's Kingdom (God's Promise Paradise)
