Millie Cervasio, 98, of West Windsor, passed away on Saturday, April 29th, 2023 peacefully at her residence. Affectionately known as “Grammy” “Mom” and “Aunt Millie”, she always said of herself, “I am smart, strong and independent,” and her life shows how she embodied these words. She was born and raised in Newark, NJ before moving to Central Jersey last 50 years West Windsor for the past 20 years. Millie was a hard worker over the years mainly being employed by Bank of America and Tung-Sol widow Factory. Millie worked so diligently and fast at the Loinel Trains, her fellow employees asked her to slow down because they couldn't keep up. She loved sports, especially her Yankees, crossword puzzle scratch offs, and trips to Las Vegas, but most importantly she loved spending time with her family. Millie was the Matriarch of the Family and Life of the party. Sunday Dinners were her tradition, a joyful time spent with family enjoying her amazing Sunday Gravy and playing Rummy 500. Millie was truly giving and charitable to anyone in need, she always donated to St.Judes in memory of her Granddaughter, Gina Marie. She was predeceased by her late husband Frank Anthony Cervasio U.S. war Veteran sh was window for nearly 50 years) her parents Joseph and Sarah Nuzzo, many beloved siblings and granddaughter Gina Marie. She is survived by her children Linda Ciccone, Diane DiGiovanni, Carol Caputo and Frank Cervasio; survived by her 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren,sister Joan Gizzo, as well as many nieces and nephews she loved as her own. The Family would like to offer a special thanks to Patricia Verdino, Margie and Arnie (USPS) for their friendship and daily devotion, and her Grandson Dominick who cared for her through the end of her life.
