“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith; henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness...”  II Timothy 4:7

In the early morning hour of Wednesday, January 25, 2023, God in His infinite wisdom called unto himself our husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, cousin, in-law, nephew and friend, Kenneth Paul Moore.

After faithfully enduring a tedious journey, he quietly departed this earthly life and entered into his eternal rest. Kenneth was born on October 23, 1957 to the late Hollis Moore and Richetta Johnson at Fitkins Hospital in Neptune New Jersey.  He was a lifelong resident of Freehold, NJ, matriculating through the Freehold Borough School System. Kenneth was a member of the Old Ship of Zion Missionary Baptist Church where he was a member of the Brotherhood Choir before his illness.

Kenneth held various jobs throughout the years with the last being at Party Towne USA of Freehold and Ocean Township NJ.  Kenneth loved spending time with his wife, sons and most of all his grandkids.  He was a lover of all things fashion with thinking outside the box making everything bespoke for him.  Kenneth was very quick witted and humorous in his own way.  While he was quiet, when he spoke it was like E.F. Hutton – listen, something important has just been said.

Cherishing his memory are Mrs. Rita (Whittaker) Moore his loving wife and devoted care-giver of 24 years, four sons; Tory Martin and spouse Tara, Raheem Crudup, DuVonWhittaker and spouse Ursula, Isaac Fleming and spouse Brianna.  Twelve Grandkids: Raheem Jr., Khadijah, TaiChi, Caleb, Olivia, TaiHir, Kymir, Zobia, Roman, Zoe, River and Onyx.  His mother, Richetta Moore.  Four brothers: FortonWimbush, Daryl Banks, Kevin Thomas and spouse Carmen, Ron Moore, and Gregory Moore.  Sister Grethel Kinsey. Brother in-laws: Ahmad Shabazz, Darren Whittaker, Henry Whittaker Jr., Rason Brown, and Jamal Brown. Sister in-laws Von Brown and Geneen Brown. God-Brother Anthony McKenzie, Aunt Susie Wright, Cousin Kimberly Paulus and spouse Edgar, Aunt Geraldine Mims and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Aunts, Uncles and Friends.

Kenneth was predeceased by his father, Hollis Moore and Sister Deborah (Moore) Whittaker.
