Delois Ann Garrison daughter of the late Roy L. Baskerville and Luvenia M. Walker-Baskerville, was born on December 19th, 1945 in LaCrosse, VA. She also attended public schools in LaCrosse, VA. She later graduated from East End High School in South Hill, VA, while working at James Moore Cleaners also in South Hill, VA.
A couple years later, she moved to New Jersey. On August 23rd, 1975, she married the love of her life, Charles L. Garrison.
Delois became a faithful member at Pilgrim Baptist Church in Red Bank, NJ. She was a Willing Worker, a member of Family Promise, Missionary and Community Outreach, and Women's Ministry.
Delois and Charles purchased a home in Neptune, NJ in the late 1970's. Delois worked as a Key Punch Operator for Monmouth County over 35 years, and later retired as a supervisor. Upon retiring, Delois and her husband worked various jobs.
As her life went on, she became someone everyone counted on. The word "No" was usually not in her vocabulary. As years went by, Delois and Charles would always go visit the sick. Whether in hospitals, or their homes. Living Angels!
On February 5, 2023, she departed this life here on earth. She is predeceased by Leroy Baskerville (Brother), Mary L. Hargrove (Sister), Frederick M. Baskerville (Brother), Mattie P. Hargrove (Sister), and Janay M. Garrison (Granddaughter).
She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years Charles Garrison, Neptune, NJ. Son James Lorenzo Garrison (Tawanna), Roselle, NJ. Her Siblings...John Henry Baskerville (Christine), South Hill, VA. Richard J. Baskerville (Francis), Eatontown, NJ. Shirley King, Red Bank, NJ. Granddaughters Nakiyyah and Alexis.
Along with a HOST of nephews, nieces, and more family and friends who cherished her.
